Our Mission

Our Goals are to educate children and adults about the arts, develop their talents and skills, enhance their self-esteem, have fun, and offer a top-notch and diverse performing arts showcase to the community of Milford and the surrounding area.

Company Profile

Milford Performing Arts Center provides formal training and education in the performing arts to students of all ages. There are many performance opportunities as well as exhibitions, workshops, and trips available to the community of Milford, PA and the surrounding Tri-State area in the various performing art forms: Dance, Music, & Drama.

MPAC opened its doors on August 15, 2002 with the official launch of the Dance Department. The company has seen steady growth. To this day, MPAC gains about a student per week. MPAC may seem small now, but at this rate, Milford Performing Arts Center promises to be the biggest name around!

The long term plans are to house a small dance company, a drama troupe, and a myriad of musicians. MPAC will be recognized as a leader in performing arts education, top-notch productions, performing arts entertainment, and as a vital organization in and around the town of Milford, PA.

While the company transitions into their future, MPAC will officially launch the three main departments one by one. Regular classes in the various genres of dance, drama, and music will be the main-stay of the organization for the first several years. Milford Performing Arts Center will also gain a reputation for producing fabulous shows in dance, drama, and music. MPAC plans to grow as a leader in the performing arts community while building and supporting other performing arts businesses, venues, and organizations. When the arts community works together, everyone benefits: the students, the teachers, the community, and, of course, the organizations themselves.

MPAC is, and always will be, a place where people interested in the arts will find what they are looking for despite what their goals are, where they come from, and why they enter the studios in the first place. Whether a student is looking for a social activity, a healthy exercise regiment, lessons in discipline, a new way to appreciate the arts, a way to practice a hobby, a stepping stone for college, or a launching pad to a professional career in the arts, one will find a place that suites their needs at MPAC. We can't be "all things for all people," but we're as close as it gets and getting even closer every day. MPAC treats its students as people, not clients, not customers, and definitely not dollar signs. MPAC thinks of their students as family. If you want to find out more about the relationship that MPAC has with its students, feel free to stop by and ask the students' parents.
